This is the latest Diploma level Institute established by the Government of Delhi to integrate technology with the health care system. To start with, Diploma courses in Pharmacy, Medical laboratory Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services and Management have been proposed.
The Institute is completely disabled friendly spread in a campus of an area of 11 acres with the residential and hostel facilities. The Institutional building is four storied and has six wings with a central amphitheatre. The interior shall be appropriately designed by the PWD. The Department of Technical Education is committed to create all the facilities to make this Institute a premier Institute.
The Institute is located at sector 9 Dwarka, on the main road dividing Sectors 9 and 10, near Dwarka Court and is opposite to the land earmarked for the 750 bedded hospital to be constructed by the Government of Delhi. It can be walked down both from the Metro stations Sector 10 and Sector 9. There is a church adjacent to the boundary wall of the campus. On the hostel side there are society flats.
