Choice Submission

  1. The Candidate will be required to login on the website ( using his/her CET Roll No. as Login ID and Password (as generated by him/her during the Online Registration process) for Online Choice Submission.
  2. The candidate will submit his/her choice/s of Institute as well as discipline in the order of preference by clicking on the “Fill Choices” button.
  3. The candidate is advised to give maximum number of choices in his/her own interest. (Candidates of Test-1 are advised to give at least 25 choices in the order of preference so that there are brighter chances of securing a seat in their preferred institute and course).
  4. On clicking the “Fill Choices” button, the available choices specific to the candidate will be displayed in the left side frame. On selecting a particular choice and clicking the “Add” button the selected choice will be removed from the left frame and will be added into right frame.
  5. The candidate can move the choices, delete the choices, interchange the choices, modify and rearrange the choices as per his/her preference.
  6. After filling and arranging the choices of branch and institute click on the “Save and Continue” button.
  7. In the next screen candidate will be shown “Filled Choices” in the order of preference as given by him/her during “Fill Choices” process. The candidate now has the option to “Modify the Choices” or to “Lock the Choices”.
  8. If the Choices shown in this screen are in order of the preference as desired, the candidate is required to lock the choices and take Print out for future reference. The candidate has the option to modify the choices even after Locking them till the last date and time of Online Choice Submission by pressing the “Unlock” button given in above screen i.e. Filled Choices.
  NOTE :
  1. After the last date & time of Choice Submission, the candidate cannot change the choices under any circumstances.
  2. If a candidate fails to lock his/her choices on or before last date of Choice Submission, the last choices saved will be automatically locked by the system and the same will be considered for seat allotment.
  3. It is mandatory for the candidate to lock the choices and take the print-out of the locked choices for future reference. The print-out will need to be taken before the closing time on the last date of the online choice submission.
  4.
